We believe in respecting our culture, our lands and Wet’suwet’en traditions, and that we can maintain all of those while pursuing reconciliation on behalf of our people.
We believe that our own unique governing system, along with the Hereditary Chiefs, can lead us into social and economic reconciliation.
We believe we must work together for the benefit of all our people, so that we can all live a good life.
We believe that all Wet’sewet’en people have a voice that deserves to be heard.
We believe we must engage our people.
We believe in building capacity and education for our people.
We believe in the health and wellness of our people.
We believe there is a united future with prosperity for our people, while respecting our history and our Ancestors.
We believe there needs to be more awareness and education of our people within our own communities and within Canada.
As the Elected Leaders of the Wet’suwet’en Nation, we believe we must engage our people in making the decisions that will determine all of our futures. We will do this together. As a community.
